Akastor’s subsidiary DDW Offshore has completed the sale of the vessel Skandi Atlantic for USD 22.75 million, with the transaction executed under amended Saleform 2012 terms following the required consent from the vessel’s charterer. Of the proceeds, USD 8 million will be applied to repay part of DDW Offshore’s debt, reducing its remaining debt to USD 16 million and modestly strengthening the subsidiary’s balance sheet while leaving it focused on operating its two remaining AHTS vessels in the offshore oil and gas support market.
