Akanda Corp. held its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders on April 30, 2025, during which several key proposals were voted on. The shareholders approved the fixing of the number of directors at five and elected Christopher Cooper, David Jenkins, Jatinder Dhaliwal, Katharyn Field, and Usama Chaudhry as directors. Additionally, GreenGrowth CPAs were re-appointed as auditors for the 2025 fiscal year. A significant proposal regarding potential future consolidation of the company’s shares was also approved, allowing the Board of Directors to determine the consolidation ratio within specified limits.
