AirTrip ( (JP:6191) ) just unveiled an update.

AirTrip Corp. has announced an internal reorganization of its major shareholdings, with Oishi Capital Corp., the current largest shareholder among major shareholders, planning to transfer all of its AirTrip shares to two related entities, Oishi Corp. and Oishi International Corp., as of March 23, 2026. The transaction, conducted within the group of asset management companies controlled by Chairman Munenori Oishi, constitutes an acquisition of at least 5% of voting rights and is treated under Japanese law as an act equivalent to a tender offer, effectively reshuffling control among related parties without introducing a new external controlling shareholder.

Following the transfer, Oishi Corp. will become the largest shareholder among major shareholders, while Oishi International Corp. will newly qualify as a major shareholder, replacing Oishi Capital Corp. in that role. The move centralizes and restructures ownership but keeps control within Mr. Oishi’s network of asset management entities, suggesting limited immediate impact on AirTrip’s day-to-day operations, while still signaling a formal shift in the composition and structure of its dominant shareholder group in line with regulatory disclosure thresholds.

The most recent analyst rating on (JP:6191) stock is a Buy with a Yen845.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on AirTrip stock, see the JP:6191 Stock Forecast page.
