Airtel Africa Advances Share Buy-Back Program

Airtel Africa Plc (GB:AAF) has released an update.

Airtel Africa PLC, a major telecommunications provider, has reported the purchase of 108,850 of its own ordinary shares as a part of its ongoing share buy-back program, initiated on March 1, 2024. The shares, bought through Citigroup Global Markets Limited, will be cancelled, reflecting a strategy to manage the company’s equity effectively. Since the start of the program, Airtel Africa has acquired a total of 66,767,587 shares at an average price of 112.39 GBp per share.
