Airtel Africa Advances Share Buy-Back Plan

Airtel Africa Plc (GB:AAF) has released an update.

Airtel Africa has executed a substantial share buy-back, purchasing 1,117,328 ordinary shares at prices ranging from 113.60p to 115.10p, with an overall volume-weighted average price of 114.51p. The shares acquired on 09 September 2024 are set to be cancelled, contributing to a total of 51,674,156 shares bought back since the program’s initiation on 1 March 2024. This move aligns with the authority granted by shareholders and is part of the company’s ongoing effort to manage its share capital effectively.
