Air New Zealand Sees Capacity Growth Amidst RASK Decline

Air New Zealand Limited (ANZFF) has released an update.

Air New Zealand Limited reported a 3.9% increase in group capacity for November 2024 compared to the previous year, driven by higher demand from major events. However, the company’s year-to-date underlying RASK declined by 0.5%, with short-haul routes seeing a larger decrease due to lower domestic demand. Intense competition in North America continues to affect long-haul yields, despite some improved performance in Asian routes.
