Air New Zealand Navigates Growth Amid Competition

Air New Zealand Limited (ANZFF) has released an update.

Air New Zealand Limited has reported positive growth in passenger numbers and an expansion of international capacity in March 2024, following New Zealand’s border reopening. Despite this, the airline is facing a decline in revenue per available seat kilometer (RASK) across both short and long-haul routes, attributed to intense competition, particularly from US carriers on North American routes. The airline also recognized $45 million in COVID-related passenger revenue credits for the period up to December 2024.
