Air China has released its unaudited interim financial results for the first half of 2024, reporting a loss of RMB 3.54 billion, a marginal improvement from the RMB 4.04 billion loss in the same period last year. This comes amid increased revenue of RMB 79.52 billion, but with significant operating expenses, including jet fuel and employee costs. Loss per share has also decreased to RMB 17.67 from RMB 22.39.
