Agronomics Limited, a pioneer in cellular agriculture, has announced that its portfolio company Solar Foods raised an additional EUR8 million, completing a EUR16 million Series B round. Solar Foods, which produces protein from CO2 and electricity, has launched its first commercial-scale factory capable of producing 160 tons of Solein™ annually and is set for market entry in Singapore following regulatory approval. The company is also in the process of seeking regulatory approval in Europe and is exploring partnerships for integrating Solein™ into various food products.
