The Agricultural Bank of China has announced its 2024 second extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to be held on September 6, 2024, at the bank’s headquarters in Beijing to discuss key management appointments and amendments to the bank’s authorization plan. Shareholders registered by September 6 are eligible to vote and may appoint proxies for representation. The EGM will incorporate onsite and online voting options and will focus on the election of executive and independent non-executive directors, as well as special resolutions concerning the bank’s governance.
