AFT Pharmaceuticals, New Zealand’s largest domestic pharmaceuticals company, has announced that Chief Financial Officer-designate Simon Bosley will not assume the CFO role for personal reasons. He will nonetheless remain with the business until the end of July to assist during the transition as the company recruits a successor.
The new appointee will replace long-serving CFO Malcolm Tubby, who is scheduled to retire at the end of May 2026, marking a significant leadership change in AFT’s finance function. Managing director Dr Hartley Atkinson acknowledged Bosley’s contribution and support through the transition, underscoring the company’s focus on maintaining continuity in its financial leadership during this period of executive turnover.
