African Pioneer PLC Highlights Mid-Year Progress

African Pioneer PLC (GB:AFP) has released an update.

African Pioneer PLC, focusing on copper exploration and development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, has reported its unaudited interim results for the first half of 2024 with a focus on its Namibian, Zambian, and Botswanan projects. The company highlighted the extension of its Ongombo copper-gold project license in Namibia, positive ore sorting results, and an updated Mineral Resource Estimate. Moreover, it entered into a strategic option agreement with First Quantum Minerals for Zambian exploration licenses and continues to assess the potential for smaller scale mining in Botswana amid a reported loss of £322K after tax.
