Affinor Growers Inc. has amended its Agricultural Technology Agreement with Freshbay Inc., granting Freshbay exclusive rights to certain agricultural intellectual property. In return, Freshbay will pay Affinor CAD $33.5 million in scheduled payments tied to funding milestones and product shipments. The deal, which also includes a significant finder’s fee related to the transaction, is expected to expand Affinor’s global patent presence and distribution networks.
