AFC Gamma, Inc. has announced the creation of a new independent REIT, Sunrise Realty Trust, Inc., which is set to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on July 9, 2024, with the ticker symbol SUNSV. Investors will be able to trade the shares on the distribution date, but the transactions won’t settle until two days later. Regular trading under the symbol SUNS will commence the following day. However, the future trading prices for both AFC Gamma and SUNS stocks remain uncertain.
