AF Gruppen ASA ( (AGRUF) ) has shared an update.
AF Bygg Syd, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has secured a contract worth about SEK 530 million from the Municipality of Trelleborg to build and refurbish the Sjöviksverket wastewater treatment plant. The project underscores AF Gruppen’s role as a key contractor in environmentally focused infrastructure, delivering modernised facilities that address capacity demands and regulatory pressures.
The assignment moves from a completed design and planning phase into construction, covering new treatment processes, increased capacity, improved sludge handling and energy-efficiency measures at a plant originally commissioned in 1967. Work starts immediately and is scheduled to finish with a final inspection on 30 May 2030, providing long-term visibility on workload and reinforcing the firm’s position in sustainable water and waste infrastructure projects.
