Åsane Byggmesterforretning, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been chosen by Alver municipality in Vestland as the general contractor to build the new Knarvik wastewater treatment plant under a MNOK 166 contract, covering the main facility, a personnel building, a wastewater pumping station and access road. The project, which is set to start in the first quarter of 2026 and run for 24 months, will enhance local wastewater infrastructure in Knarvik and surrounding areas, underscoring AF Gruppen’s position in environmentally focused public infrastructure projects and strengthening its role as a partner to Norwegian municipalities on socially beneficial construction.
