Aecon Group Inc. has secured a development phase contract with the City of Winnipeg for the Winnipeg North End Sewage Treatment Plant Biosolids Facilities Upgrade project. The contract, as part of a consortium, is valued at $95 million and marks an expansion of Aecon’s involvement in Winnipeg’s wastewater treatment capacity enhancement, with substantial project completion expected by 2030.
