Aecon Group Inc., as part of the South Fraser Station Partners consortium, has reached financial close on a $928 million contract for the Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project, which includes construction of eight stations and associated infrastructure, with work set to begin in late 2024. The project, aimed at boosting mobility in one of Metro Vancouver’s fastest-growing areas, is expected to be substantially completed by 2029.
