AE Fuels Corporation ( (TSE:AEF) ) has shared an announcement.

AE Fuels has launched a Stage 3 testwork program with Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, to refine a scalable purification pathway for battery-grade high-purity manganese sulphate, with optional capability to produce electrolytic manganese metal. The data-driven program, co-funded under CSIRO’s Kick-Start initiative, aims to validate continuous operation, optimize flowsheet performance and reduce technical risk ahead of major capital commitments.

The Stage 3 work forms part of an integrated development path that combines technical, environmental and engineering streams toward a planned pre-feasibility study in the first half of 2027. In parallel, AE Fuels is progressing beneficiation, leaching and purification studies and producing representative manganese sulphate samples to support strategic partnerships, secure offtake and funding, and strengthen its position in emerging battery materials supply chains.
