The latest update is out from Advance United Holdings ( (TSE:AUEX) ).
Advanced Gold Exploration has reported assay results from its 2025 diamond drilling program at the Buck Lake Project’s Noranda Zone in Ontario, where work was temporarily halted after completing two of three planned holes due to winter conditions. The drill remains on site for a spring restart, as the company continues to evaluate a previously defined 500-metre massive sulphide zone within a much larger 3,000-metre electromagnetic anomaly.
The new holes intersected massive sulphide zones carrying anomalous copper values, with average grades in the hundreds of ppm range in holes BL-25-01 and BL-25-03, reinforcing Buck Lake’s potential as a VMS-style Cu-Zn system. While one hole missed massive sulphides and may have fallen short of its target, management says the copper “pathfinder” signature across the corridor suggests the current intercepts may lie on the margin of a larger, higher-grade system, underlining the project’s exploration upside for investors and other stakeholders.
