Admiralty Resources NL ( (AU:ADY) ) has issued an announcement.
Admiralty Resources NL has completed commissioning of the transmission line providing direct grid power to its Mariposa Iron Ore Project mine in Chile, energising the plant via a 23 kV connection at the Agrosuper substation. This milestone secures a reliable electricity supply for mining operations and is expected to reduce power costs compared with relying on fuel generators at the site.
The company is now progressing internal electrical connections and load testing within the processing plant, with remaining energisation steps for a second transformer and low-voltage systems to occur once the plant operates under load. The development strengthens Mariposa’s operational readiness and supports Admiralty’s push to bring its flagship iron ore project into sustained production, reinforcing its growth ambitions in Chile’s iron ore sector.
