An announcement from Acast AB ( (SE:ACAST) ) is now available.
Acast has become the first company to monetize Apple Podcasts’ new video environment at scale, launching integrated video ad campaigns with first-mover brands State Farm and T-Mobile. Using Acast’s ad-tech and Apple’s HLS technology, the campaigns blend audio and video in real time across 117 shows and more than 1,000 episodes, reaching a growing global video audience led by the U.S., France, the U.K., Canada, and Australia.
The initiative taps into a hybrid consumption trend, with Acast citing research that nearly four in five global podcast listeners both watch and listen to shows, and that adding visuals can extend brand reach by up to 39%. By defining how video podcasts are bought, sold, and measured on Apple Podcasts, Acast is positioning itself at the forefront of the medium’s commercial evolution, potentially strengthening its appeal to major advertisers and driving incremental listener growth, 60% of which it says is additive rather than cannibalizing existing audiences.
The most recent analyst rating on (SE:ACAST) stock is a Hold with a SEK30.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Acast AB stock, see the SE:ACAST Stock Forecast page.
