The latest announcement is out from AC Immune SA ( (ACIU) ).

On April 30, 2026, AC Immune SA reported that it had dosed the first patients in Cohort AD4 of its ongoing Phase 1b/2 ABATE trial of ACI-24, an anti-amyloid beta active immunotherapy for prodromal Alzheimer’s disease and adults with Down syndrome. The start of this final cohort triggers a $12 million milestone payment from partner Takeda under their global option and license agreement.

The ABATE study has enrolled 74 patients across cohorts AD1–AD3 and will now add at least 36 patients in AD4, with potential expansion to about 112 to deepen safety and biomarker data. Data from the first three cohorts after 12 months of treatment are expected in Q2 2026, a readout that could be pivotal for AC Immune’s precision-prevention strategy and its high-value collaboration with Takeda, which includes up to roughly $2.1 billion in additional potential milestone payments and future royalties.

The most recent analyst rating on (ACIU) stock is a Buy with a $8.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on AC Immune SA stock, see the ACIU Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ACIU Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ACIU is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by ongoing unprofitability and the 2025 shift back to significant cash burn alongside declining revenue and erosion of equity, despite the offsetting benefit of low leverage. Technically, the stock sits slightly above key moving averages but lacks positive momentum (negative MACD and sub-50 RSI). Valuation support is limited given the negative P/E and no dividend yield.
