AB Dynamics ( (GB:ABDP) ) has shared an update.

AB Dynamics reported a 16% drop in first-half revenue to £48.8m and a swing to a statutory operating loss, largely driven by delayed customer orders, weaker-than-expected volumes at its VadoTech testing services business in China and a £16.8m exceptional charge, mostly a non-cash impairment. Despite the top-line decline, the company held its adjusted operating margin at 18.6%, maintained strong cash conversion with net cash of £39.3m, raised the interim dividend by 10% and reiterated that full-year adjusted operating profit should meet market expectations, supported by an improving order intake, a £47m order book and structural growth drivers in active safety and autonomous systems.

Management has launched a strategic review of the commoditised VadoTech China operation while sharpening its focus on innovation, aligning its testing products to upcoming regulatory and consumer rating changes and building out its simulation offering, where the Delta S3 Spin simulator is gaining early traction. The group continues to highlight its OEM- and powertrain-agnostic positioning, geographic diversification and pricing power as buffers against industry and geopolitical headwinds, and remains committed to medium-term goals of roughly 10% annual organic growth, operating margins above 20% and strong cash generation for reinvestment.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:ABDP) stock is a Hold with a £1370.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on AB Dynamics stock, see the GB:ABDP Stock Forecast page.
