a2 Milk Settles Disputes with Synlait, Supports Recapitalization

Synlait Milk Ltd. (AU:SM1) has released an update.

The a2 Milk Company Limited has reached a conditional settlement with Synlait Milk Limited, resolving disputes including exclusivity and pricing issues. The agreement acknowledges a2MC’s right to end Synlait’s exclusive manufacturing for certain products from January 2025 while continuing some supply obligations. Additionally, a2MC will support Synlait’s equity raise as part of the settlement, which will not affect a2MC’s FY24 financial guidance.
