Ukraine has reportedly targeted Lukoil’s Grayfer oilfield in the Caspian Sea with a drone strike, according to the Ukrainian General Staff. The attack, which occurred on December 14, has resulted in significant damage to a natural gas drilling rig, forcing production at all 14 wells at the platform to cease. Lukoil, which also operates nearby Filanovsky and Korchagin fields, has not commented on the incident. This marks a further escalation in strategic strikes on energy infrastructure in the region.
