ARK Buys CoreWeave, Crypto, and CRISPR Stocks
ARK added to several key positions on Friday. The biggest buy was 350,734 shares of CoreWeave, worth about $24.27 million, showing strong faith in the AI cloud infrastructure company. This adds to ARK’s recent pattern of buying more CoreWeave. Notably, the stock fell almost 22% over the past five sessions after the company lowered its 2025 revenue outlook during its latest earnings call. Wood now appears to be buying the dip.
Along with CoreWeave, ARK kept building its crypto exposure. It bought 49,900 shares of Bullish, 31,890 shares of BitMine, and 20,700 shares of the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF. These buys come as Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $85,000 on Friday, extending the recent pullback. This marks its lowest level since April, when it briefly slipped below $75,000.
ARK also increased its stake in biotech. The firm purchased 67,078 shares of CRISPR for about $3.3 million, keeping its focus on gene-editing and next-generation medical research.
ARK Cuts GitLab Again, Along With EXAS, AMD, and IRDM
On the selling side, ARK continued trimming several positions. The biggest move was the sale of 670,144 shares of GitLab, worth about $28.49 million.
The fund also sold 227,153 shares of Exact Sciences, valued at roughly $22.87 million, and cut 169,485 shares of Iridium, totaling about $2.68 million. In addition, ARK made a smaller trim in AMD, selling 1,623 shares worth about $334,370.
