California’s Attorney General has announced that it will sue the Trump administration after President Trump sent the California National Guard to displace riots against immigration raids in Los Angeles over the weekend. The National Guard’s arrival marked the first time that a president called them in without a request from the state’s governor since 1965.

“The very incompetent ‘Governor,’ Gavin Newscum, and ‘Mayor,’ Karen Bass, should be saying, ‘THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL. WE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, SIR,'” said Trump on Truth Social this morning.
Trump Threatens to Arrest Newsom
Trump also added that he would support arresting California Governor Gavin Newsom for obstructing immigration enforcement actions. “The President of the United States just called for the arrest of a sitting Governor. This is a day I hoped I would never see in America,” said Newsom in response.
