Cloud Network Insights is designed to help IT teams monitor performance from the end‑user’s perspective, whether workloads run on‑premises, in the cloud, or rely on SaaS applications. The companies say the service addresses a growing gap in traditional monitoring tools, which struggle to keep pace with increasingly distributed and AI-driven architectures.
The expanded offering, announced at Google’s Cloud Next 2026 event, focuses on three primary areas:
- Network Experience Monitoring: Provides full visibility into network paths to track critical metrics and quickly distinguish between network and application issues.
- Reduced Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR): By isolating root causes, such as identifying if a bottleneck is in the local network or a specific cloud provider, operators can resolve outages faster.
- Synthetic Transaction Monitoring: Enables proactive identification of issues with web and SaaS applications before they impact users.
As organizations adopt more distributed, AI‑powered workloads, Broadcom and Google Cloud say deeper observability is becoming essential for maintaining performance and reliability.
Builds on April Deals for Custom TPUs and Agentic AI Tools
This latest collaboration builds on a series of deeper integrations the two companies announced earlier in April 2026. Broadcom recently signed a long‑term agreement to develop and supply future generations of Google’s custom AI chips (TPUs) and networking components for the company’s AI data‑center racks through 2031.
The companies also advanced their work in autonomous AI applications with the launch of VMware Tanzu Platform agent foundations on Google Cloud, giving developers a dedicated runtime environment for building and deploying agentic systems.
