Trump Says BlackRock’s Rieder is ‘Very Impressive’
Earlier this week, Trump said he had narrowed down his shortlist to two or three candidates. “And I probably can tell you, we’re down to maybe one, in my mind,” he told CNBC. Trump also said Rieder was “very impressive” after the pair sat down for a meeting.
Meanwhile, the odds of National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett being selected have fallen to 6% from 15% over the past week after Trump emphasized that he would like him to remain in his current role.
