Bitcoin’s price is compressing under pressure. With Trump’s 100-day speech just hours away, traders are looking at the $95,000 BTC price level like it’s the final boss in a crypto video game. The title of AlphaBTC’s huge prediction—“The more attempts into $95K, the more likely it will push through.” Now Bitcoin looks ready to break out if buyers can finally crack resistance.
Trump Speech Looms as Bitcoin’s Next Big Catalyst
Bitcoin has spent the last week coiling between $91,700 and $95,850. That range might not hold for long. President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a landmark 100-day address on April 29, and this one might have Bitcoin baked into the script. According to Polymarket, there’s a 24% chance he name-drops crypto or Bitcoin directly—an event traders have bet over $1 million on.
Past comments from Trump already jolted Bitcoin from $74,400 to $94,000 after he suggested tariffs on Chinese goods “will come down substantially.” Now, markets want clarity on his administration’s crypto reserves and regulation plans. But with Trump, clarity often comes with caveats—especially if new tariffs are part of the pitch.
Bitcoin ETFs and Shrinking Supply Tighten the Coil
While politics plays out, Bitcoin’s on-chain activity hints at something bigger brewing. Over $4.7 billion worth of Bitcoin has been yanked off exchanges in just a week, according to CryptoQuant. That shrinking supply amplifies every bit of demand—and we’ve already seen a surge.
BlackRock’s IBIT ETF (IBIT) alone purchased $970 million in Bitcoin on April 28. That marks its second-largest day of inflows, per Sosovalue. These inflows are no flash in the pan. As Bitget’s Ryan Lee put it, “ETF inflows and corporate buying have been significant for Bitcoin’s recovery.”
BTC Analysts Predict $100K Breakout after Compression Ends
Analyst AlphaBTC believes Bitcoin won’t see a big pullback until it clears $100,000. Fellow trader Daan Crypto Trades echoed the same, calling $95,000 the “final squeeze.” Presto’s Peter Chung isn’t holding back either—he expects Bitcoin to hit $210,000 by year-end.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is sitting at $94,977.
