The BBC is reportedly teaming up with Google (GOOGL)-owned YouTube in a landmark content deal that will bring the broadcaster’s programs to the platform for the first time. According to the Financial Times, the BBC will create original shows specifically for YouTube, which will later also appear on the broadcaster’s iPlayer and Sounds platforms. Sources say the deal could be officially announced as soon as next week.
