Avalon Holdings Wins Supreme Court Mandamus Case

Avalon Holdings Corp. (AWX) has released an update.

AWMS Water Solutions, LLC’s legal battle over its salt water injection well culminated in a unanimous decision by the Supreme Court of Ohio on January 24, 2024, overturning the lower appellate court’s ruling. The state’s high court remanded the case back to the 11th Appellate District Court for further proceedings on the company’s mandamus complaint, following a series of appeals and a trial that initially denied the company’s claim for a writ of mandamus and just compensation.
