Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest ETFs (exchange-traded funds) made a series of notable trades on Monday, December 1, according to daily fund disclosures. The investment firm increased exposure to e-commerce, crypto, gene editing, and autonomous driving names, while trimming positions in software, robotics, and satellite stocks.

The latest moves come during a volatile trading environment, especially across growth, crypto, and AI-linked companies.
Wood Buys Shopify, Bitcoin ETF, and CRISPR Therapeutics
The biggest buy of the day came from crypto exposure. The ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) and the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) together purchased 71,500 shares of the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), showing that ARK is still positive on crypto even after recent price swings.
ARK also bought 26,420 shares of Shopify (SHOP) through the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK). Shopify remains one of Wood’s key holdings linked to AI tools in retail and online shopping growth. Meanwhile, ARK added 8,776 shares of Robinhood Markets (HOOD) during the session, reflecting ongoing interest in fintech platforms.
In healthcare, Wood acquired 19,180 shares of CRISPR Therapeutics (CRSP) through the ARK Genomic Revolution ETF (ARKG) and ARKK.
Wood Adds to Autonomous Bets
Beyond the larger trades, ARK also continued building positions in select early-stage and high-growth names.
This included 417,057 shares of WeRide (WRD), an autonomous driving developer, and 4,471 shares of Kodiak AI (KDK), which focuses on self-driving freight and trucking.
ARK Trims Positions in Roku, GitLab, Iridium, and Symbotic
ARK also trimmed several positions during the session. The largest reduction came from warehouse automation firm Symbotic (SYM), with 73,157 shares sold.
The firm also cut 16,674 shares of software platform GitLab (GTLB), 12,869 shares of streaming hardware company Roku (ROKU), and 50,310 shares of satellite communications provider Iridium Communications (IRDM) across multiple ETFs.
In addition, ARK sold 46,286 shares of coupon app Ibotta (IBTA) and 19,497 shares of semiconductor tester maker Teradyne (TER).
