Wall Street expects Archer to post a net loss of $0.25 per share in Q1 2026, a slight improvement over the $0.26 loss in the last quarter.

Just yesterday (May 7), the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) moved Archer’s Midnight aircraft into a Restricted Type Certificate (RTC) program. This marks a major milestone because it creates a faster and lower-cost approval path for launching initial air-taxi operations in Abu Dhabi by late 2026. Archer is also the first eVTOL company to reach this stage in the UAE, giving it an early advantage over competitors.

What to Watch in ACHR’s Earnings

Investors will closely watch whether ACHR reports its first meaningful revenue in Q1 2026. Management had earlier guided for initial revenue during the quarter, so the market will look for signs that payments tied to Middle East partnerships or defense contracts have started coming in.

Archer ended 2025 with nearly $1.96 billion in liquidity, putting the company in a strong financial position compared to many other eVTOL players. Still, as Archer works with Stellantis (STLA) to ramp up production at its Georgia facility, investors will be paying close attention to cash burn. Now, the key question is whether the company can scale manufacturing efficiently without needing to raise fresh capital anytime soon.

While the UAE is moving quickly, Archer’s progress in the U.S. still depends on FAA approval. Investors will be looking for updates on the Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) timeline, since reaching this stage allows formal testing with FAA pilots to begin. It is also considered one of the final major steps before commercial passenger operations can launch in the U.S.

Is Archer Aviation Stock a Good Buy?

Heading into Q1 earnings, Wall Street has a Strong Buy consensus rating on Archer stock based on five Buys and one Hold. The average ACHR stock price target of $13.20 indicates about 110% upside potential.
