Analyst Ebrahim Poonawala of BofA has reiterated his Buy rating on JPM with a price objective of $362, signaling further confidence in the bank’s prospects. His target suggests additional upside from current levels, backed by expectations that JPMorgan is prepared to deliver strong pre‑provision net revenue growth and profitability despite rising competition and macroeconomic uncertainty.

Poonawala highlights that management remains optimistic about a relatively constructive economic outlook, even as technology-driven disruption reshapes financial services. He also points to potential regulatory normalization, expecting Basel End Game rules to be capital neutral and GSIB recalibration to ease capital requirements, which could free up balance sheets and support more lending.

Capital markets are another bright spot for JPMorgan, with management noting year-to-date trading revenues tracking in the mid-teens percentage growth versus consensus and investment banking also up by the mid-teens. This strength has led to an upgrade in the markets net interest income guide to $9.5 billion from $8 billion and prompted increases to JPMorgan’s EPS estimates for 1Q26 and full-year 2026.

On the technology front, JPMorgan’s leadership sees artificial intelligence as more of an opportunity than a threat, expecting the bank to benefit in most areas where AI is applied. CEO Jamie Dimon believes the firm will win in the majority of AI use cases, and management has already outlined redeployment plans for employees as automation advances. Never miss a stock rating.
