Looking at the specs of the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D, it features eight cores and 16 threads with 96 MB of L3 cache and a clock that can boost up to 5.6 GHz. This makes it a modest increase in performance over the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is what was expected for a mid-cycle upgrade to AMD’s Ryzen line.
To be clear, these listings might not have an accurate price for the Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor. There’s some price discrepancy based on the region of the listing. Instead of relying on these listings, investors will want to wait until CES 2026, which is when AMD is expected to officially reveal new processors.
