Shares in e-commerce giant (AMZN) slipped early Friday after its cloud unit the previous day reported an outage due to a temperature problem at a single data center. Full restoration efforts by Amazon Web Services are still in progress, as of the time of writing.

Trade AMZN with leverageThe problem disrupted trading on Coinbase’s (COIN) platforms. However, the crypto exchange, in its latest update on Friday, said it had been able to re-enable trading on web and mobile devices for its customers.
Similarly, exchange operator CME Group (CME) on Thursday reported “strategy creation and intermittent latency” issues with its platform. However, the company on Friday said it had wrapped up essential maintenance work and restored access to CME Direct, its front-end electronic trading platform. It remains unclear if the issues were related to the Amazon outage.
