Accenture ($ACN) Makes Anthropic’s Claude the Brain Behind Its New Cybersecurity Weapon

Accenture (ACN), the global IT services firm, has partnered with the artificial intelligence (AI) company Anthropic to raise the bar for what enterprise cybersecurity protection can deliver at scale. At the 2026 RSA Conference, Accenture unveiled Cyber.AI, a new specialized security platform built on Anthropic’s Claude AI model, which replaces slow, human-speed threat response with continuous, AI-driven defense.

Anthropic’s Claude Powers Accenture’s Weapon Against AI Cyber Threats

Cyber.AI is a cybersecurity solution that simplifies setup, threat detection, and response, reducing manual work and delivering faster, measurable results for organizations. Its launch comes as cyber risks intensify, with nearly nine in 10 organizations citing AI-driven vulnerabilities as the fastest-growing threat, according to the World Economic Forum’s Global Cyber Outlook 2026 report, produced with Accenture.

At its core is Anthropic’s Claude AI, the platform’s central reasoning engine that analyzes large volumes of security data and generates context-based insights to support decision-making. The collaboration pairs Claude’s reasoning capabilities with Accenture’s library of proprietary AI agents and its cybersecurity expertise, backed by more than 30,000 professionals. Accenture’s Cyber.AI also includes Agent Shield, a feature that protects, monitors, and governs AI agents in real time, ensuring they operate within defined company policies and risk limits.

Accenture Proves Cyber.AI Works as AI Security Race Heats Up

Accenture has deployed Cyber.AI across its global IT infrastructure, securing 1,600 applications and more than 500,000 APIs. The move has cut scan turnaround times from 3–5 days to under an hour, expanded security testing coverage from roughly 10% to over 80%, and boosted service delivery by 35%, driving notable year-over-year cost reductions.

In Dec. 2025, Accenture and Anthropic formed the Accenture Anthropic Business Group, training 30,000 professionals on Claude. Their recent partnership intensifies competition with the global cybersecurity leader CrowdStrike (CRWD), which, on the same day, introduced its AgentWorks Ecosystem with Accenture, Anthropic, and other partners. Meanwhile, IT services company Infosys (INFY) also announced a separate collaboration with Anthropic on March 21 to advance AI deployments in regulated industries.
