We leveraged the tool to pick the top three penny stocks with the highest Dollar Volume as of the close on August 4, 2025. Simply put, Dollar Volume is the number of shares traded on a particular day multiplied by the day’s share price.

Tenon Medical (TNON) – Tenon Medical is a medical technology company focused on developing innovative and less invasive solutions for patients with sacroiliac joint (SIJ) disorders. On August 4, TNON had a Dollar Volume of $344.14 million, while its stock price fell by 4.1%.

Yesterday’s decline appears to be a reversal from Friday’s rally, when Tenon shares skyrocketed over 43%. On August 1, Tenon announced that it had acquired sacroiliac joint specific assets from SiVantage, including SiVantage’s SImmetry and SImmetry+ technologies. This acquisition expands Tenon’s SIJ product portfolio to offer multiple approaches suitable to different sacro-pelvic anatomies.

BioXcel Therapeutics (BTAI) – BioXcel Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company that is focused on developing AI-enabled treatments for neuroscience. BTAI had a Dollar Volume of $149.98 million yesterday, accompanied by a stock price surge of 85.4%.

After the markets closed on Friday, BioXcel announced the completion of the last patient’s last visit (LPLV) in the Phase 3 SERENITY At-Home clinical trial, with top-line data from the study expected this month. Positive data would support the planned supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) to potentially expand the label of IGALMI for use in the at-home setting. Shares jumped in reaction to this news yesterday.

I-Mab (IMAB) – I-Mab is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of precision immuno-oncology agents for the treatment of cancer. On Monday, IMAB had a Dollar Volume of $116.73 million, while its stock price rose by 11.8%.

On August 1, I-Mab announced a $65 million underwritten equity offering priced at $1.95 per American Depositary Share (ADS), in which China’s Everest Medicines committed $30.9 million to increase its stake to 16.1%. This commitment reflects confidence in I-Mab’s clinical-stage asset Givastomig, which showed a strong 83% overall response rate in gastric cancer trials. IMAB shares have been trending higher since Friday.
