Tharimmune (THAR) – Tharimmune is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing treatments for immunology, inflammation, and oncology. On August 20, THAR had a Dollar Volume of $1.32 billion, while its stock price skyrocketed by over 206%.

The company announced positive simulation results of its lead drug candidate, TH104, an experimental drug being developed to prevent the effects of fentanyl and other strong opioids. The latest results suggest that TH104 may start working within 30 minutes and provide protection against opioids for about 24 hours. This gives TH104 a major advantage over current treatments like naloxone, which usually works for only 30–90 minutes.

NovaBay Pharmaceuticals (NBY) – NovaBay Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing novel, fast-acting synthetic anti-infective compounds. Yesterday, NBY had a Dollar Volume of $183.69 million, accompanied by a stock price surge of over 71%.

Shares jumped higher after the company announced a $6 million securities purchase agreement with private investor David Lazar. This agreement is for the company’s non-voting convertible preferred stock and is split into two closings. The company has already received the first $3.85 million from the deal. Lazar has also been named the new CEO of NovaBay Pharmaceuticals.

Auddia (AUUD) – Auddia is a technology company that develops a proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) platform for the radio and podcast markets. On Wednesday, AUUD had a Dollar Volume of $130.55 million, while its stock price gained 14.2%.

Yesterday, Auddia announced a strategic shift in its business from a business-to-consumer (B2C) to a business-to-business (B2B) model. The new approach focuses on offering artists and labels subscription-based access to Auddia’s AI-powered platform that guarantees song placements on ad-free AM/FM streaming radio, helping artists reach mainstream radio audiences more effectively, and helping Auddia monetize artists rather than consumers.
