Aptorum Group (APM) – Aptorum is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing novel therapeutics for neurology, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, oncology and other disease areas. On July 16, APM had a Dollar Volume of $381.03 million, while its stock price skyrocketed by 100%.

Yesterday, Aptorum announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement with DiamiR Biosciences, under which DiamiR Biosciences will retain its name and become a wholly owned subsidiary of Aptorum Group. The merger is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. The combined company is expected to continue trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market upon the closing of the merger.

Qualigen Therapeutics (QLGN) – Qualigen is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing novel treatments for adult and pediatric patients with rare cancers. Yesterday, QLGN had a Dollar Volume of $189.07 million, accompanied by a stock price surge of more than 11%.

The stock rose yesterday on news that the company had received new patents covering 25 countries for its QN-302 drug. Qualigen in-licensed the G4 selective transcription inhibitor platform from University College London (UCL) in 2022. The new patents cover the product and its methods of manufacturing.

Incannex Healthcare Ltd. (IXHL) – Australia-based Incannex Healthcare is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing treatments for chronic conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, rheumatoid arthritis, and generalized anxiety disorder. On Wednesday, IXHL had a Dollar Volume of $80.56 million, while its shares rose by about 14%.

There was no specific news about Incannex yesterday to justify its stock price rally.
