We leveraged the tool to identify the top three penny stocks with the highest Dollar Volume as of market close on December 22, 2025. Dollar Volume refers to the total value of shares traded in a day, calculated by multiplying the number of shares traded by the stock’s price.

Luminar Technologies (LAZR) – Luminar Technologies designs and sells LiDAR hardware and related software to enable safer and more capable autonomous and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) for cars, trucks, and other mobility applications. On December 22, LAZR had a Dollar Volume of $540.06 million, while its stock price plunged by 64%.
On December 17, Nasdaq notified Luminar that the company’s Class A common stock would be delisted after Luminar began voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings on December 15, 2025, with trading on Nasdaq set to be suspended at market open on December 24, 2025. In November, Luminar lost a major contract with automaker Volvo AB (VLVLY), which compelled the company to consider bankruptcy.
Autozi Internet Technology (AZI) – Autozi Internet is a China-based technology company that focuses on building a digital, multi-sided ecosystem for the automotive lifecycle. Yesterday, AZI had a Dollar Volume of $215.51 million, accompanied by a stock price surge of nearly 33%.
On December 19, Autozi announced that its strategic investor, CDIB, has formalized an initial equity investment of $90 million, following a prior letter of intent (LOI), at a share price of $3.50. Autozi and CDIB have entered into a multi-faceted partnership focused on digitalizing the aftermarket, smart risk controls, data assets, and international expansion.
Mint Incorporation Ltd. (MIMI) – Mint Incorporation operates through its Hong Kong subsidiary Matter International Limited, an interior design and fit-out provider, and is expanding into robotics and AI to become a leader in smart facility management. On Monday, MIMI had a Dollar Volume of $58.95 million, while its stock price fell by 19.4%.
The share price decline appears to be a reversal from the 75% surge seen on December 19. MIMI announced that a significant shareholder, AL Holding Group Limited, converted all 2.1 million Class B shares to Class A on a 1-for-1 basis, reducing voting power from 20 votes per Class B share to 1 vote per Class A share. The total shares owned remain 3,543,400 Class A shares, so governance voting is broadened without changing overall equity ownership. This move shifts control away from AL Holding’s high-vote stake while keeping its economic stake unchanged.
