Management Fees, also known as Expense Ratio, is an annual charge for maintaining and operating the fund. This is expressed as a percentage of total assets managed by the fund.
Management Fees of 1% mean that an ETF firm will charge 1% of Total Assets every year. So if you invest $10,000 in such an ETF, you will be charged $100 per annum.
