Alphabet Class C is doubling down on artificial intelligence while riding a powerful share-price rally, as Wall Street grows more confident in the company’s long-term dominance in digital advertising. Google is rolling out a major upgrade to its Gemini AI, called “Personal Intelligence,” which lets the chatbot automatically tap data from Gmail, Search, YouTube and Photos to give more tailored, assistant-like answers. The feature, initially in beta for paid AI Pro and AI Ultra users in the U.S., can, for example, plan trips by scanning old emails and photos or suggest products based on a user’s past activity. Crucially, Alphabet is positioning this as an opt‑in tool: personalization is off by default, users choose which apps Gemini can access, and they can disable personalization for specific replies, a move aimed at easing privacy concerns even as Google leverages its huge first‑party data advantage over AI-only rivals like OpenAI and Anthropic.

Despite a minor pullback in GOOGL shares around the announcement, Alphabet Class C stock has surged roughly 70%–77% over the past year, with gains of about 4%–6% in the last week alone. Analysts remain firmly bullish: the Class C shares carry a Strong Buy consensus, with 12‑month average price targets clustered around $336–$341, only slightly above recent prices near $333–$336, implying modest but continued upside after the strong run. Notably, analyst John Blackledge reiterated a Buy rating and lifted his target to $355, citing survey data showing Google Search still delivers the highest return on investment and best measurement tools for advertisers, even if its share of global digital ad spend is expected to ease only slightly in coming years. Ad buyers also see YouTube’s video ad share inching higher and view Alphabet as best positioned for the next wave of generative AI‑driven advertising—supporting the case that Alphabet Class C can extend its leadership in both AI and digital ads while continuing to reward shareholders.
