The firm cites its view that economy RevPAR could accelerate beginning in March for the upgrade. Mizuho’s analysis of sequential seasonality suggests trends are already beginning to outperform expected seasonality, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm believes the market expects easy comparisons for Wyndham in Q2, but is not pricing in any type of material positive RevPAR inflection.
