BTIG raised the firm’s price target on Walmart (WMT) to $125 from $120 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The appointment of John Furner as new CEO is a very wise one and Mr. Furner is “up to the task!”, with the transition expected to be a smooth and seamless one, the analyst tells investors in a research note. BTIG adds that the company’s Q3 marked the 7th consecutive quarter with eCommerce growth above 20%, further stating that it is bringing its FY27 total revenue estimate to $743B from $732B, and now expecting gross margins to expand 34bps to 24.56%.
