Citi analyst Paul Lejuez says Walmart’s (WMT) Q1 was in-line to slightly better versus elevated expectations, with its strong performance in April and early May a highlight. The lack of visibility into how the customer will react to higher prices remains a question mark, “but that is true for most,” the analyst tells investors in a research note. Citi says that with “significant” buying power, wide price gaps, mindshare for value, and a high-growth higher-profit margin businesses, Walmart is in a favorable position to weather any tariff and macro storm. The “Walmart winning” theme continues, the firm contends. it keeps a Buy rating on the shares with a $120 price target
