Volkswagen (VWAGY) was in discussions with the U.S. over investments in the country, Christoph Steitz and Louisa Off of Reuters reports. CEO Oliver Blume told Reuters the company did not appreciate an “assymetric” deal on tariffs between Brussels and Washington, so instead the company is “counting on our plan on investments in the U.S.”
