Barclays analyst Betty Jiang raised the firm’s price target on Viper Energy (VNOM) to $60 from $57 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm believes the Sitio Royalties (STR) acquisition cements Viper as the “premier unconventional royalty company and the go-to upstream yield vehicle.” Post the deal, Barclays sees Viper’s distribution yield rising from 5.6% in 2025 to 7.4% in 2026, while delivering mid single-digit organic volume growth despite lower oil prices.
